Beware of Bankers Life and Casualty in Louisville, Ky. I worked there for about a year and it is nothing but a scam.

The manager there is Scott Bogdon and he does not care about the agents. I bet he went thru over 100 agents the year I worked there. He takes 10% of your commissions and puts it toward leads......HOWEVER, you never see any leads. I think he uses the money for himself.

Also, if you are a woman, beware...he made me very uncomfortable. Always touching me and looking at my ***/cleavage. He always wanted to meet in his office or take me to lunch, I learned real quick not to be alone with him. I tolerated it for awhile, just because I am a single mom and needed the money.

I did earn a decent income that year, but it got to be to where it just wasnt worth it.

If they could keep anybody it might be different, but the turnover is terrible. He promises all this training, but nobody ever gets trained.

I think the only reason I got any attention was that I was an attractive lady. Trust me though, this guy is a *** and the company is a scam.

I just got a call from them for an interview. I'm suppose to meet with Kyle Elliott. Should I still go or not?

I really do not take heed in these *** reviews. It is now 2014 and these comments were made 3 or 4 years ago.

I have been offered a job by Scott at the Louisville branch. These people (including the original posting) just sound they are blowing smoke up peoples butt because they are mad at the world. Of course leads aren't free, I had to pay for them when I worked for AFLAC. I met Scott and he seems like a great guy, plus I talked to the 25 agents in that office.

Reviews that can't spell "through" and "policy" correctly really tells me you have no idea.

The original poster even admits that you make a good income your first year (good for me I'm broke), and if you were actually there, you would know how many agents went through there without pulling the "I bet" card.

In regards to the unethical practices, if this was the case the commissioner of insurance should have been notified, and if there was an "investigation", how come 3 years later the branch is still there and Scott is still BSM? Doesn't make sense to me.

Seems like the agent who originally posted was having a bad day and decided to take it out on somebody because she pulls the "creeper" and "looking at me" card. How would you feel if nobody noticed you? Pretty lonely huh. The fact you admit you make a good income, and griped about 10% for leads tells me you just wanted to have your hand held, without actually putting in "Work".

Banker's is still in business, and now they are fronting $500,000 for a new Louisville office. Agents that say this is a scheme, need to retake the class and get the basic idea of "insurance", or ,just do not go out in public because they get along with anybody.

Lay individuals who has no idea on the structure of insurance obviously thinks it's a ponzi-scheme, insurance is where you pay in the promise that they will give you money in a particular event. So to the people here saying that, get your license and do it before you make assumptions.

I am excited for my new opportunity at bankers, and look forward to helping senior citizens secure their retirement that they have worked hard to build. A website titled "pissed off consumer", is for smoke blowers that can't get their life together.

However I will get mine with Bankers and the wonderful opportunity it brings.

I just got a call from them. Thank you for the info. I will not be calling them back!

I am very interested in getting back into sales. I have a very successful past though I have not ever sold insurance.

Bankers did contact me and I did go to the "group" first interview. I have a follow up one on one scheduled.

I understand the complaints though being in sales when one leaves a Co they usually do not have good things to say. I assume one either quit or was terminated due to not making their goal and or received a charge back.

I ask this. What was good about the Co? Where you happy with the money/compensation earned? Were you able to get leads every day?

I will never be unethical in my approach nor will I be misleading. Though I am not scared on rejection and the word NO. As far as what others do that is on them. I get the disgruntle comments but can someone share some facts with me?

Good and Bad. Contemplating!

Thank you in advance.

I lasted there for 6 months. I finally had enough when I watched my "trainer" go into a man's house (who barely had 2 nickels to rub together), set up online banking without his knowledge, select a password for him, transfer money from his savings account (leaving the poor guy about $200), and then tell him to write a check for an equity indexed annuity that he did not need nor could afford. Such pathetic behavior, I did not want to be associated with it.

Does your name rhyme with "Saul Baulding"????

Hey K are you another in his web baby. Has he got you scamming the elderly and giving that special behind the door bonus?

Don't shut up, do tell, hahaha. Hope there are congical visits when the feds are done with him, just for you sweetie unless you're behind bars too because he dragged you in to this pyramid ponzi scheme. I'm surprised he isn't in hiding like other Bankers *** CEO's

For any one in the Louisville and Ky area who are victims of Bankers, contact the insurance commissioner in Frankfort, Ky.

They are aware of Bogdon and the investigation in Washington DC by the federal gov. Also send your statement to US senate special committee on aging in Washington DC

Scott bogdon is none of these things. He is a great Boss and Person.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is ***. Scott would never do any of those things. Everyone at his office has a blast working there and loves him. So all you little freaks out there that think otherwise need to SHUT YOUR MOUTH.

k!

thanks! :)

Boggs has already been submitted by family to Washington DC feds. You want him out,??

all you have to do is send a statement of what you know on him to the US senate Special Committee on Aging in Washington DC., google to get address, Bankers is being investigated. The more statements they get, the more out of business, fines and possibly imprisionment, behind bars where he belongs!!

Guest

Do tell!! What's up?

Let's see Scotty Boggs GO DOWN....the POS needs to be evicted from the business of insurance.

If you've got him sewed up, good for you!!!

I've personally watched him lie and intimidate. He deserves some of the misery he's dealt others.

Night...Night... Scotty Bogs

I'm looking for an agent by the name of Kim Wiley back in the late 90's, of course she's quit, but I'm still looking for her. Does anyone know her or where I can contact her?

Guest

I received a call from Bankers the caller did not provide any information regarding the position they are seeking to fill. I did not feel that the caller was a recruiter, more of a telemarketer.

I have been job seeking for a few months.

Employers that have called usually give you an over view of the company as well as pre-interview over the phone, of which none occurred. :upset

God Bless you for caring about your neighbor. Since you have all this info, PLEASE write this in a statement and send it to the US Senate Special Committee for Aging, G31 Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington DC 20510.

Please let's work together to protect our elderly as you so rightly put it, from these BAST-RDS at Bankers. Your story is what thousands of elderly have gone through and they still are.

People please write your congressman and govenor of your state and tell them you want Bankers investigation looked in too. Get these Bankers predators stopped from being able to sell in your state!!

AOh

BANKERS LIFE IS A SCAM? ADD THIS TO THE PILE: Though their scams are news to me, it comes as no surprise.

Next door neighbor is 83, lives alone and gets almost no help from her 2 sons; I often intervene on her behalf. Living on Social Security only, she barely makes through the month, much less than afford assisted living as she needs (certainly not additional expense of a whole life insurance policy Years ago her employer purchased a 1,000 dollar whole life policy for her through BANKERS LIFE. Guessing that new rep was tasked with finding prospects in old sales records. Sales agent applied fear tactics to sell a 5,000 dollar whole life policy to *leave a little something* for her dim-witted sons.

Payments were taken directly from her checking acct each month. A year and a half later the rep showed up to sell another life insurance polocy. Success. Actually told little old lady the other policy was paid up and ran some immoral tactics.

Succesfully. I knew all of this because I helped her by grocery shopping and paying her bills. This included access to her banking records. Can any one believe that BANKERS LIFE sold 2 enormously expensive whole life policies so her sons could pay any bills upon her death and she would have a *small legacy to leave behind*.

Bastards. Because the cost was overwhelmong, because they would benefit, suggested to sons they pay the monthly premium.

HA! BANKERS LIFE relies on fear and greed to sell insurance.

Contact the insurance commissioner in your state. If you're in Louisville then call Frankfort and they will open a claim.

From what I'm hearing, Frankfort has been notified about the investigation into Bankers. Also, send a letter to US senate for aging in Washington, DC.

***, all Bankers CEO's, agents and employees are senior scamming ***!!
