I worked for them briefly Most corrupt unethical company They lie to seniors to trick them into agents weaseling their way into the home. Can’t believe they are still in business!!?

I am 76, now have Parkinson's, and after paying more than $18,000 to BL (they keep the interest of course), I too cannot get reliable information, only the run around. I am told different stories, especially since the Customer Service is in Jamaica. Does anyone know of a consumer lawsuit?

Why it takes so long to get money back

We were going to get a Life Policy on me. The Agent we were working with was very nice and enjoyed him helping us. He gave us what our life policy would be and we wrote out a check for the first payment . The check was cashed but no policy. The next payment was double and higher then what we were told to pay. Called our Agent and it was looked into double payment was because they had not got a payment and they had raised the payment about 18.00 dollars more a month. No one let the agent know about change. Now we are working to get the money back. I ask what take so long it has been about 2 months we have waited for it.

Unprofessional and Misleading

I just received a phone call from the same person at Bankers, same dialogue, I found your resume and feel you are very qualified and experienced. She jumped right away asking me when am I available for an interview. I advised that I was currently on a temp assignment and would need a after work time, lunch time or early morning. She asked me to come in at 9 a.m. clearly during work time with no respect to the employer I am temping for. I truly believe on following your instincts. I was not comfortable after the phone call and she did not give me an information of the position or job description. Hence why I decided to google the Company and her name. Thank you all so much for your information. I will not call in late to a paying temp job for a position I know nothing about. I am a paralegal / Legal Assistant and this position does not sound that is for me. My resume clearly states my profession. If this is a sales position, I have no idea then why I was contacted. Thank you.

They don't care as to your profession, they just need warm bodies trying to make those 100% commission sales. You don't earn a base salary, so it costs them nothing to take a chance on anyone.

They come to door univited

Shows up at door to sell medicare supplement, turns out its life insurance they are trying to peddle. Very pushy people. Dont want to leave when asked to leave. Dont even open the door when they come on your property. They shouldnt come univited in the first place. Thats how bad they want to push their lousy insurance. Beware!

My Mother's death and resolution of her Trust Assets

My mom passed away April 19th, 2017. Her Trust attorney sent letters in early May to all her asset companies, with a death certificate and a request to close all accounts and send checks to her Trust Administrative account. Her other funds went into the account within 10 days. Bankers had more paperwork in early June, which the Trustees signed and sent back. On June 29th, the local agent told the Trust attorney that the paperwork was being processed. Today is July 29th and not one word from them. She has 3 large annuities and the money is just sitting there somewhere !! The Trust attorney seems reluctant to push the issue, but I am filing a complaint with the Montana Insurance Commissioners Office.

After 20 year paying on time BECAUSE THEY TAKE THE MONEY OUT MY CHECKING Bankers life and Casualty always have and excuse to paid my husband benefict After mounths sending all the papers and information they ask They gave us the last Excuse that because my husband is self employee they have to go for the earning before the loss and expense of the business Ridiculous even Uncle Sam you paid the taxes after the loss or the business The funny is they never ask for that they only ask for our individual taxes and in 2015 my husband have a corporation (he made From 2014 to 2015 in January if 2026 he stop the corporation ) and they never call or help telling the problem But again 2015 he made before loss $42300 and 2016 $35000 I think that $42300 is more than $35000 They want for us to open a new claim that who knows how much time it will take Because since March 3 my husband do not make any MONEY AND DO NOT HAVE INS he is waitting for the social security THIS INS IS A JOKE THEY TAKE YOU MONEY AND THEY DO NOT HELP OR PAID THE BENIFECT REMEMBER I WAS CLOUSE TO 20 year PAYING THEM 20 years no 2 o 5 20 YEARS

Pissed customer

I spent 4 days in Yale New Haven Hospital this year. When I filed a claim, I got a rejection letter. My claim was denied. When I finally got someone on the phone, they told me that they had already paid out the maximum of $1200 to the Hospital. The Business Office at Yale went through all of their records, and stated that they have never received any payment Bankers Life and had never even sent them a bill. They owe me for the room for those 4 days, and have done nothing but lie to me. I am 70 years old and an amputee. This company is not to be trusted by anyone. Annonamuos

They showed up at my door too. I said I don't remember ever calling you and that I am not interested and they still wouldn't leave.

I said I am not going to tell you again. LEAVE.

Do not even waster your time talking to them. Find another insurance company.
