This company is terrible. First of all, they delay processing claims due to their error i.e. not checking their fax for required documentation, which results in you paying for their mistakes. Then, there are always new policies and procedures everytime you call and...

This company lies to client agents and brainwashed Managers to think they are in a good spot. It's a bad deal. Do not waste your time. I made a lot of money but that can happen at any company . Once I found out life outside of Bankers was so much better I left and...

So I woke up this morning to a missed call and a voicemail. The woman who left the voicemail had a deep accent but sounded very professional so I decided to listen to the whole thing. She was going on about how she found my resume online and she believed I possessed...

Glad that I did a little research on Banker's Life, too. I got that same v/m from Francis who "came across my resume online".

He didn't say what position or where he is located, but the phone number says Hollywood, FL. I will delete that voicemail.

I don't have time to waste or gas. Thank you for your comments and standing up for what you know is right.

Getting the commissioner of Florida involved is the right thing to do. The former president of the NAIC (National Association of Insurance Commissioners) has been, in the past, one of the strongest opponents of the tactics of Bankers Life. Refer to the multi state Market Conduct Study, the millions in fines, the more millions they budgeted for in their blatant disregard for the fines.

They have been directed to not pay claims by the recovering, formerly bankrupt Conseco, now known as CNO Financial Group. They have been stymied by a Federal judge in California that refused their calculated premium increases that they had on an indexed universal life product as part of their 10 year restructure. Continue your research by checking the Committee on Aging investigation that is receiving continuous complaints about them lead by the honorable senator from Wisconsin. (Wisconsin required that fire all their managers there, a couple of years ago, just remain in the state)

They will not stop until the top exec's do the perp walk out of the building.

That said, send all your documents and letters of complaints that you have sent to the commissioner, to your senator, and the committee on aging, assist the efforts to get your loved ones claims paid, AND get them shut down sooner rather later.

Direct all future correspondence to the VP of claims at Bankers, not that it will help, but know that the 'cubie dwellers' are restricted, many have assisted the conduct study. Google the article, Aged Frail and Denied by the New York Times, it will give you perspective.

I just went to an interview with this place the other day and it was rediculous. Be happy that you got kicked out early.

They said the group thing was going to be 15 mins and the group thing turned into 2 hours. 2 hours of my life wasted. All this company is is a big ol pyramid sceme. People make money off of the elderly and I think that they may be scamming the elderly.

We are supposed to protect our elderly, and after reading posts on this website, it seems like all Bankers is trying to do is make money off of the elderly. I checked them out after the fact and they are not even part of the BBB. But most of the elderly do not know or have access to check the BBB, and some elderly will sign papers without talking to their children first.

I cannot believe that a company is scamming the elderly and getting away with it. I will make sure that everyone that I know will never sign with this company.

I don't know where to even begin. First of all you have to be licensed to sell insurance products in any state so paying for licensing is spot on.

Also you're going to become an independent contractor for most of the companies involved in insurance so yes....you do have to pay for training however it is reimbursed to you by most companies including Bankers life after you show you can be successful. It sounds like this wasn't a good fit for you and maybe the guy was over pressured but I know people who work for Bankers and they make a lot of money and are very happy.
