Elderly brother's friend invoked the Irrevocable Clause as Beneficiary. No problem - but, she died two years ago in February, 2013. In June, 2013, his agent met me at brother's place, took my check for $146 to bring the policy current. Brother no longer had a...

Bankers Life And Casualty Company in Jackson, Ohio - Why are you still charging premiums for my Dad who died in 2012?

1.0
Details
Bank statements indicate withdrawals for premiums for monthly coverage for my Dad--the most recent withdrawal was 6/15/15. He died in July 2012. We have called repeatedly to get this resolved and have heard every excuse in the book. "There's no agent assigned to this account." "The deduction is for your Mother." (Really? Then why are you making monthly withdrawals for premiums for my Mother? And why is it in my Dad's name? I'll be that argument would not hold up in court.) "The premium is for your mother's in-home care. (Really? Even though she's in assisted living and we're paying for that through them?) This is ridiculous. Class-A Rip-off. I love the statement on Banker's Life and Casualty website that says: Customer Service You Deserve. What did I ever do to deserve that kind of customer service. This is the kind of service that gives insurance companies a bad name.

you should contact bank and place a block on the automatic drafts, it is financial fraud and file to get a bank dispute on unauthorized bank withdrawals by Banks Life. People can stop it by contacting their banks!

@Mr Insurance Man,

It is obvious that you did not fully read the post, either that or you work for Bankers.

They clearly stated that Bankers filed the paperwork and after they filed it, it took a long time to get it straight with the state because it was incorrect on so many illegal levels and was deliberately so on the part of Bankers.

Yes, you can get a non resident license. Mosts states require you to have a license in the state that you are in first though and the office put the office's address as the poster's address. That is clear and pre-meditative fraud on their behalf.

The poster was very lucky that they weren't charged and sentenced because of Banker's actions...

Bankers Life And Casualty Company in Columbus, Ohio - Bankers Life

I just listened to a voicemail from Bankers Insurance telling me that I was hired because of my impressive resume that was uploaded to Monster.com. Apparently, all my odd jobs add up to a super insurance agent. Anyone reading "Insurance Man's" serious question should know this: Companies like Bankers hire people just to find sites like this one and plant positive rebuttals to sincere complaints from real people. Or just write something innocent but positive sounding within complaints from others. This is "Insurance Man"'s job. He is probably a loyal employee for numerous companies that get bashed for being pyramid scams. If it weren't true, "Bankers Insurance Scam" wouldn't have been higher on Google's hit list than the company name itself when I searched it. Regardless, I won't be going to the interview for the job that I apparently have already been hired for.

@ Common Sense: Why do you even care if someone makes a complaint against Bankers? You seem to be getting very pissed!

Chris and everyone else has a right to inform of their experience(s).

BTW I have read this same issue/situation from other ppl on other blogs and sites. Makes one raise an eyebrow.

Sorry, let me make some corrections with no stars, those stars mean id iot, and the state application fee etc. adds up to 200 dollars (65 dollars less) Bankers life would be $65.00 more than the state.

Dude, first, sorry to say, but you're an ***, it's not a pyramid scheme. It's a reputable business that has been around longer than most, and It is one of the most successful insurance companies in America, and no, I don't do anything for them.

However their cost to get a license is about 65 dollars less than getting it through my stat (TX) which they will allow you to do. By the way, any *** can get to the top of Google.

Bankers has locations in 49 states and has been in business for over 100 years... Wow, thats a long time to successfully be ‘scamming’ people?!?...

Really?? Lazy Americans have nothing better to do than sit behind their computer screens and create conspiracies that don’t exist.

Maybe if people spent more time taking ADVANTAGE of job opportunities ( and less time COMPLAINING about them) our nation’s unemployment rate wouldn't be anywhere near as high. Just some food for thought…

I have worked at bankers for a year and a half. I have gotten to help about 100 families protect themselves. I am tired of 1 or 2 people calling it a scam. This is how my 2 small boys (4 and 8 mths) get their food. When people who are lazy and dumb and can't manage...

Bankers will not take your credit card. They charge you monthly out of your commissions.

Also, Bankers is one of the most expensive insurance companies with a lower rating than those "big boys".

It is people like you sir that bad mouth the larger companies in houses to make sales. I run across that daily in the field.

Your best bet would be to save enough money to completely live off of for one year, then rent an apartment to wherever you are locating, and SEE for yourself. These places are scamming, and I thought my 'interview' was real, but I am hearing that it is not.

I had a 'group' meeting, it was more like a presentation..then they call you back the same day for an individual interview, and tell you you have to be licensed to sell insurance, pay this amount, or this amount, or this amount, or get this package, or this one.....went home and mulled over how I was going to get the money for this, and in such a short amount of time (I had to do it within 10 days), my boyfriend borowed the money from his brother. So I can become this 'sugga momma', and get everyone caught up on their bills.

I am highly intelligent, but feel saddened, and enraged to have the insecurity of doubting myself. How dare they?
